The Alesha Show is the second album from Alesha Dixon, ex-member of UK Garage girl group, Mis-Teeq, and her first album using her full name (her previous album was credited simply to "Alesha"). The album was released on 24 November 2008 in the UK, preceded by the Xenomania-produced lead single "The Boy Does Nothing". The last track, "I'm Thru", was originally a song by Moonbaby.

The album entered the UK Albums Chart at number twenty-six, selling over 26,000 copies. It dropped off the top 75 chart after four weeks. The album slowly climbed up the chart and after the success of her second "Breathe Slow" it rose to a new peak of 12, giving the album its first top-twenty chart placing and has since been certified for sales of over 300,000 copies. Following the release of "Let's Get Excited", "The Alesha Show" rebounded to a new peak of 11.

Following the international release of "The Boy Does Nothing", The Alesha Show has charted in various European countries, including a peak of 30 on the French Albums Chart, compiled by the Syndicat National de l'Édition Phonographique.

The album has received generally good reviews with Play.com said of the album, "Touching on all manner of musical styles including '60s soul, big-band swing, and heart-wrenching balladry, The Alesha Show is an accomplished debut that will have lovers of all music genres dancing and singing along." Digital Spy gave the album three stars and stated that is was "an album that's often as lively and likable as the woman who made it."
